Since 1930, there's been a blanket ban on abortion in the Philippines. And there isn't a single exception. But the law has not actually prevented abortion -- it's only made it unsafe and potentially deadly. According to new research by the Center for Reproductive Rights, the law creates a dire public health crisis in the Philippines. Every year, over half-a-million women risk their lives to unsafe procedures. Here, we tell some of their stories.
